The Senegal Health Institute operates a women’s health and birth center that provides reproductive health care, safe, compassionate birthing practices, prenatal, postpartum, new born care, and family planning services as well as counselling.

The Senegal Health Institute also runs a thriving adolescent girls program and a child nutrition program for children ages 6 months to 5 years.

In 2023, the NAF partnered with the Senegal Health Institute in launching the Girl's Scholarship Program pilot in Senegal. With the on-ground presence and support of the Senegal Health Institute and NAF funding, a cohort of four young ladies started their studies in October of 2023 at ‘Ecole de Santé de Ziguinchor’, focusing on Nursery and Midwifery studies.

Once this first cohort graduates, the GSP program in Senegal will be terminated, and the efforts will continue to be focused on receiving and supporting new cohorts for the Girls' Scholarship Program program in Togo.
