Project Grantee

Faces Up is an organization dedicated to empower bright yet vulnerable youth and young adults in Uganda to improve their prospects and overall quality of life by providing transformative arts education and tools for expression as catalysts for healing and resilience building.

​Faces Up employs a transformative arts education program that focuses on addressing the most urgent psychosocial needs of thousands of young people, both in and out of schools. Many of these children are deprived of parental care, lack access to basic needs, reside in broken families, and are in need of psychosocial support. 

​

To further support its cause, Faces Up transforms artworks created by the learners into merchandise such as t-shirts, greeting cards, tote bags, sandals and purses that are sold online to raise funds for school fees for children from financially challenged backgrounds.
